The review that follows rectifies the omission. It is our hope and desire that this Annual Review – coming a mere 60 years since the CER’s birth! – will be the continuation of a regular dialogue with our Patrons, to whom we owe much, and with all of our stakeholders. We are proud and delighted to present the second Annual Review of the CER. The CER is now active in every country across the continent. From turning the pages, you will discover the wide range of activities undertaken by CER on so many fronts to protect the interests of Europe’s 1.6 million Jews – a task that has never been needed more since the establishment of the CER in the aftermath of the Holocaust, than it is now. We thank all those who have been instrumental in making the CER what it is today – from the founding fathers to all those who work tirelessly today in so many causes. We are especially grateful to our Board of Patrons. We also thank our many communities across Europe, and the countless unsung heroes and heroines who work for them in so many ways and who make the CERs own work so fulfilling. Greetings
